The aim of this study is to evaluate the health-promoting behaviors of
members and volunteers in the center of community health building in southern
Two versions of health behavior questionnaires were developed this year in order
to fit different needs.
The questionnaires in these two versions included of(1)smoking (2)alcohol
drinking(3)betel nut chewing
(4)drug using behavior(5)eating behavior(6)exercise and physical
(8)screening behavior(9)sleeping behavior(10)stress management (11)tea, coffee,
night snack and vitamins in
taking behavior and sociodemographic data . In order to understand why people
have these behaviors,
questions about high risk situations and self-efficacy were included.
Results showed that these health behavior questionnaires are simple and easy to
answer. They are good tools of estimating health behaviors.
