Since 2012, Health Promotion Administration fully subsidizes newborn hearing screening in certified institutions to Taiwanese infants below 3 months of age. Moreover, if infants did not pass the hearing screening, we urge the parents to pursue further diagnosis before infant's 3 months of age and grasp the golden period of infant's hearing and language treatment.
