The healthy weight for each individual, varies with age, gender, and height. The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends the Body Mass Index (BMI) to define healthy weight. For adults, 8.5≦BMI<24 is the healthy weight range. As children and adolescents are still developing, the height and weight will change with age, therefore, it is necessary to refer to the children and adolescents standard weight interpretation table from the Ministry of Health and Welfare to define the healthy weight range according to age and gender.
