    According to the Seventh Report of the Joint National Committee on Prevention, Detection, Evaluation, and Treatment of High Blood Pressure (JNC 7), if your systolic blood pressure is ≧140 mmHg, or diastolic blood pressure ≧ 90 mmHg, then it is considered as hypertension. The complications which may be caused by Hypertension are Heart failure, Coronary artery disease, Kidney failure, Stroke, and Hemiplegia.
