June 6：The Global Network for Tobacco Free Healthcare Services (GNTH) held the “2018 Global GOLD Forum Event” in Bologna, Italy. All forum members were invited to share tobacco-free hospital implementation results and unique aspects. Local hospitals (Taipei Medical University Hospital, Min-Sheng General Hospital, Mennonite Christian Hospital, and National Taiwan University Hospital Yunlin Branch) garnered four of the fifteen Tobacco-free Hospital Gold Awards presented at this event. This forum serves as a platform for Taiwan to present its achievements and unique experiences in the implementation of tobacco-free hospital concepts to international audiences and conduct international exchanges to learn from the precious experiences of other countries.
