August 23：HPA organized a press conference on “Climate Smart Hospitals” in Taiwan Adventist Hospital. Representatives of the Environmental Protection Administration of the Executive Yuan and three healthy hospitals were invited to share concrete achievements in the field of energy conservation and carbon reduction including low-carbon diets, power savings, and water savings in the transition process from a major energy consumer to a climate smart hospital. HPA also arranged on-site demonstrations and presented results in the promotion of climate smart hospitals in three stages. In the future, it is planned to provide guidance for hospitals in the transformation into an environmental education center in close cooperation with the EPA.
