March 8：Present Tsai met the delegates of International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (C.N. Purandare). Deputy Minister Hsueh Jui-yuan of Ministry of Health and Welfare, together with Director Shi Chong-Jiang of Department of Medical Affairs, MOHW and Director General Wang Ying-wei of HPA were also present. We acknowledged the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics’ for their assistance torwards women from the remote regions of many counties, effectively lowering the death rates of pregnant women. We hope to continue to speak out about Taiwan’s efforts to protect the rights and benefits of women and children during such international events.
