(1)Promoting teenage health and other related issues
have strengthened sex Education. Because they are very impressionable,
adolescents acquire many habits during this period in their lives. Once these
habits become entrenched, they last well into adulthood. The earlier the bad
habits form, the harder it is to get rid of them, and the worse the negative
effects on their health. Teenage health has become an important issue around the
world. We encourage everyone to help teenagers recognize the importance of their
health so that they may grow up in a happy, healthy, and safe environment,
becoming well-adjusted adults.
(2)Project Goals:
1.Life Skill training in schools, providing teenagers with accurate, up-to-date
information so they can make informed decisions about what is good and what is
harmful to their health.
2.Coordinates resources to create a more convenient, timely, and friendly
network of health care services for teenagers.
(3)Main topics:
1.Schools are primarily responsible for on-campus sex education, including
sex-related health issues, reproductive health issues, AIDS prevention,
addictions (i.e. nicotine, drugs, alcohol, etc), healthy diet, exercise, and
safety concerns.
2.Promotion of sex education and reproductive health:
a.Encourage public and private hospitals to establish teenager friendly clinics,
and to provide adolescents with the necessary education regarding sexuality,
pregnancy, and childbirth.
b.Provide counseling services regarding birth control devices for women under
19.
c.Educate parents as to the importance of their involvement in the sexual
education of their teenager(s).
3.Cooperation of private and public organizations to promote the prevention of
accidental injuries among teenagers. This includes the training of experts in
the field.
4.Media Promotion: Use celebrities with positive images as spokespersons on
topics such as sex education, reproduction, AIDS prevention, addictions (i.e.
nicotine, drugs, alcohol, etc), healthy diet, exercise and safety concerns to
increase public awareness and the importance of these issues.
5.Internet: Create a website for teenagers providing immediate and diverse
services, including games related to health issues.
6.International cooperation and research:
a. Participate in International Conferences in order to understand global trends
in sex education and health issues.
b. Develop additional ways to educate parents, children, teenagers, and
aboriginals regarding the importance of these issues.
c. Develop an accidental injury prevention network that would be connected with
other international networks.
