非也!!
加熱式菸草產品同樣是以菸草加工製成,一樣含有尼古丁及有毒致癌物質,並且具有成癮性。
美國食品藥物管理署已否決加熱式菸品業者做為減害商品的申請。研究指出,產品是以加熱不燃燒的方式,將菸草加熱到攝氏350°C (低於傳統紙菸溫度600°C),但其實只要加熱溫度達90°C,加熱式菸品的塑料部分,即會釋出急毒性物質:甲醛氰醇,在低濃度下即具有高毒性並危害健康。
由於菸煙的暴露沒有安全劑量,任何形式的菸草產品只要吸入菸煙,就有害健康。
