In response to aging society and in alignment with the President's healthcare policy, the "Elderly Policy White Paper," and the "Nutrition and Healthy Diet Promotion Act". Since 2018, the Health Promotion Administration has been fully subsidizing and assisting local governments to establishing “Community Nutrition Promotion Centers” in vairous counties and cities. In 2023, it has served up to 75,000 elderlies, provided guidance to 1,500 elderly meal-sharing locations or community food service, and conducting 3,000 community group nutrition education events.
